About Steve Habig
I have been a music lover my whole life. Starting at about 5 years old, my parents would let me purchase bargain bin 45’s to play on my record player. I had a decent home stereo system when I was 16, and now have a dream stereo system at home that I listen to every night.
In high school, I had some friends that had an underground radio station in the basement (yes, it was illegal). I would go over and broadcast, thinking this was the coolest thing.
I ended up going to Indiana University and then pursued a commercial banking career from which I retired, and this has allowed me to now pursue my music and radio passion again.
I am excited to play and expose the deeper cuts of music that don’t normally get corporate airplay. I have a hard time listening to the same songs over and over on terrestrial radio.
The music on my show ranges from indie to alternative and progressive to folk and southern rock. You will hear songs and artists that you might not have ever heard before, with a little info on either the song, album, or artist to expand your music knowledge.
